For peace of mind, R.M. Trailers Ltd can service your trailer professionally, using genuine manufacturer's spare parts.

To establish what is required for the trailer it is necessary to dismantle the hubs, and if nothing is wrong, to reassemble. Also, checking the operation of the coupling, jockey wheel, lights and checking the tyres for the correct pressure. Prices are as follows:

2-wheel trailer - £76.00
4-wheel trailer - £152.00

If we do not have to disassemble the hubs then a simple check-over is as follows:

2-wheel trailer - £38.00
4-wheel trailer - £57.00

If bearings are required, they are added as follows:

Up to 1500kg per axle - £43.00 per wheel
Up to 1800kg per axle - £58.00 per wheel

If new brake shoes are required, they are added as follows:

Up to 1500kg per axle - £43.00 per wheel
Up to 1800kg per axle - £54.00 per wheel

Examples of cost for other parts, which may need replacing:

Stainless steel brake cables - £16.40 each
Brake spring set - £7.20 per wheel
Brake expander - £11.00
Brake adjuster wedge - £3.40 per wheel

Coupling gaiter - £19.80 each
Coupling damper up to 2700kg - £95.00 each
Coupling damper up to 3500kg - £113.00 each

Any other parts charged per item with labour @ £38.00 per hour.
